Many frivolous websites provide a myriad of inbound link services. Many are taken for the quick way of developing so many inbound links and increasing search engine rankings. However, for the novice webmasters and business owners trying to do their own SEO, these sites are not indexed by Google and Yahoo search engines and therefore provide little benefit. If you deem that the best way to boost your SEO efforts is through such a service ensure the page where your links reside are indexed by Google and Yahoo, otherwise they are useless.
This blog is intended to educate small business owners and novice SEO practitioners as to the dangers lurking in the SEO "grey areas". Because the SEO field is a constant push and tug between search engine algorithm writers and SEO practitioners the information is very fluid and fast changing. To be succesful means remaining up-to-date, which many find impossible. This has created many opportunities for "quick SEO" service providers to sell products which have limited to no value or even a negative effect on ranking.
