A link farm is a type of link exchange program and is referred to a practice of certain web sites that create groups of sites and develop interconnecting hyperlinking to each and every site in the “family”. The link farm concept can be categorized as a form of search engine index spamming, sometimes known as spamdexing. Spamdexing could is something Google views negatively and such practices could hurt a site’s page rank.
This blog is intended to educate small business owners and novice SEO practitioners as to the dangers lurking in the SEO "grey areas". Because the SEO field is a constant push and tug between search engine algorithm writers and SEO practitioners the information is very fluid and fast changing. To be succesful means remaining up-to-date, which many find impossible. This has created many opportunities for "quick SEO" service providers to sell products which have limited to no value or even a negative effect on ranking. I would suggest link to your specific page. Search engine ranking sites by page not by whole site. And if you anchor your article to your page in the blog, and then from the article, create another inbound anchor link to your domain name. This creates better linking and boost higher ranking of your sites. I have a few sites doing this and in very short while it can rank very high in google search engine, of course those sites are less competition niche, but still can beat hundreds of thousands and even a few millions site out there. This linking play a part too.
