Lesson 1: What Are Inbound Links?

Inbound Web Links is the definition of a hyperlink in a website that directs those who press it to a different target website. These links can take form in several different types such as embedded links and hot areas. In the context of Search Engine Optimization, Inbound Web Links are referred to as links which exist in other websites and point to specific pages in one’s website. The host websites from their perspective will refer to this web links as Outbound Web Links since they point to web pages that are not theirs.
The Different Types of Web Links
As mentioned before, web links on web come in several different formats. They differ by the different ways in which these links are displayed. For SEO purposes the two link types are Embedded Links and Hot Areas.
